Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR®) Designation

In less than a year, the ACSR program teaches your staff practical and relevant decision-making and problem-solving skills while also imparting technical insurance knowledge. By completing this self-study training program, conveniently available in both online and print formats, your customer service representatives will be well prepared to answer the insurance questions posed by clients.

Program Details:

To earn the ACSR designation, you must complete all courses within any or all of the following three tracks:

Personal Lines:

  • ACSR 1—Homeowners Insurance
  • ACSR 2—Personal Automobile Insurance
  • ACSR 3—Personal Lines Related Coverages

Commercial Lines

  • ACSR 6—Commercial Property Insurance
  • ACSR 7—Commercial Liability Insurance
  • ACSR 8—Commercial Automobile Insurance
  • ACSR 9—Commercial Lines Related Coverages

Life/Health

  • ACSR 10—Life Insurance
  • ACSR 11—Retirement Planning
  • ACSR 12—Disability and Health Insurance

Additionally, you must complete two core courses and one of two ethics courses:

  • ACSR 4—Agency Errors and Omissions
  • ACSR 5—Professional Development & Account Management
  • Ethics 311—Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals or Ethics 312—Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct

Exam Information:

ACSR exams range in length from 25 to 50 objective questions and in time allotted from 45 minutes to one hour. Learn more about the exams, including scheduling and costs.
